How do I become a crane operator?

Most employers want you to have your crane operator certification before they will consider hiring you. Gaining your certification will help you get seat time in the crane and work your way towards a qualified operator. American Crane School offers a 3-day certification preparation class that includes everything you need to become a certified crane operator. After you have received your NCCCO certification, you can begin logging hours with an employer under supervised conditions. In time, you will become a qualified crane operator.
